The Conference
The International Conference “New Technologies, Education for Sustainable Development and Critical Pedagogy” aims to address the main issues of contemporary concerns for reorienting education at all levels to address sustainability. The program will feature keynote talks and presentations of refereed papers. All submissions, except invited talks, are subject to a refereeing process. Acceptance of any contribution will be primarily based on its originality, significance and quality. All accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings. Selected papers will be considered for publication to a number of international journals. Topics of interest
The New Technologies, Education for Sustainable Development and Critical Pedagogy International Conference covers pedagogical, technological, instructional, as well as policy aspects of New Technologies and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) with particular interest in how New Technologies can be a support to ESD and how ESD can be a context to New Technologies in Education. Special emphasis is given to applied research relevant to real-life issues addressing social, economic, environmental and cultural dimensions of education for sustainability from a critical pedagogy perspective. The conference aims to serve as a forum for university staff and researchers from around the world to present their current work. Main topics of interest include but are not limited to:

Call for Papers
Authors are invited to submit original papers on research results or novel applications of new information and communication technologies in the field of education for sustainable development as well as in the field of education for sustainable development in general. Submissions can be either in English or Greek.
Keynote Talks: These will be invited contributions from well-known scholars and scientists in the field.
Full Papers: These include original papers either theoretical, applications and/or research based 4000-6000 words.
Theme-based Sessions: A theme-based session is a collection of papers on a theme that has been coordinated and led by the theme’s leader(s). The theme-based session leader should provide an abstract briefly describing the theme and its significance. The papers included in the theme are considered as full papers.
